In many ways it represents what our School is truly about, celebrating diversity and offering an opportunity to learn about and explore other cultures. The Festival gives our community the chance to showcase their Culture through cuisine, performance and activities.

Our guests started their journey at the festival walking through a pathway decorated with flags representing all the countries that we proudly host at ÀÏ°ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê¹ÙÍø. They were then welcomed to the field by a whiff of freshly cooked food from all around the globe. Our community got to explore and sample a variety of delicious foods; from the classic American Hotdog to the Syrian Shawerma, you got a taste of the world in one place.

Food wasn’t the only standout at our Festival. Everyone also got to enjoy activities like learning to write their name in Japanese calligraphy and practicing their football skills at the Brazilian booth. Not to mention the many photo opportunities around. Our guests got to give us their very own Mona Lisa smile, or take a selfie in a Palestine shaped mirror, and even get to be Arminian for a photo. There were also beautiful performances from our community members. The South American group performed a mesmerizing dance that merged different styles from the region and the Palestinians gave us an emotional spoken word poetry performance.

{loadposition internationalfestival}

The day drew to a close with the raffle prizes and winner announcements. Our community came together to bring fun, diverse and exciting raffle prizes.

{loadposition internationalfestival}

The day drew to a close with the raffle prizes and winner announcements. She also discussed the need to overcome gender biases, emphasizing the importance of mentorship and learning from failures.

As they delved into their journeys, the speakers emphasized the pivotal role of education and self-confidence. The influence of teachers and parents on a child's self-assurance is immeasurable. Throughout the discussion, empowerment emerged as a journey, often fueled by individual determination and the support of mentors. The speakers' stories resonated with the broader narrative of women breaking barriers and thriving in traditionally male-dominated fields. A poignant piece of advice that echoed was Marwa's perspective on self-confidence, asserting that it "starts in your head." Embracing one's uniqueness and enjoying every phase of life without overthinking became a guiding principle. The empowerment journey, both personal and professional, became a testament to the transformative impact of self-empowerment and community support.

As the panelists delved into their roles in AWS, IBM, and VISA, it was their empowering journeys that left a lasting impression.
