AGENCY
ES Student Agency
Promoting student agency in our ϰϲʹ elementary school has multiple benefits for health and well-being. When students have agency, they feel a sense of ownership and control over their learning, which leads to increased motivation and engagement in learning activities. This will help reduce stress and anxiety and improve mental health and well-being outcomes. Additionally, promoting student agency aids students’ development of important life skills such as decision-making, problem-solving, and self-regulation, which contribute to a sense of competence and self-efficacy.
